2012 New Travec SUV

            A low cost SUV has recently released by a small German automaker, Travec. Travec Tecdrah TTi which is based on the Dacia Duster low cost model. It will be out in 2012 market, using the engine, all-wheel drive system, and interior design from the Romanian vehicle.
            The Tecdrah uses a brand new chassis made of steel onto which the tubular body placed. As for the body panels, those are made of ABS plastic. The advantage of all this re-engineering is that the whole thing weighs about a ton. More of that, the chassis will last 25 years againstthe weather and the body does not need painting.
According to the manufacturer, it will be powered by the “Romanian” 1.5 dCi diesel engine offering 90 hps, with the all-wheel drive system available, along with the entry-level 1.6 liter 16V for the front-wheel drive model.
            Travec says that its new SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 14.9 seconds and has a top speed of 148 km/h while consuming just 5.3 litres/100 kilometers. The new Travec Tecdrah TTi has dimesion for 4.185mm long and 1.800mm tall. It’s estimated that the SUV will cost 13,000 euros for the 4x2 entry level model, and 13,00 euros for the 4x4.
